The rafters were contested but suffered only scrapes and bruises.
“They didn’t do anything other than missing the signals,” Bisbee told WTAE. “And, like I saidthere’s three unique sets of signs which they would have missed. Besides that, they did every thing right. ”

“We got all six of these fairly fast,” Kenneth Bisbee, playground operations director at Ohiopyle State Park, told WTAE. “The great thing about this is, just like wearing a seat belt in your vehicle, how important is, all six of them had their own life jackets on. When they moved over the drops, which was likely the thing that saved them, and that’so they’re today.”
Cody Veronie captured video of this accident and posted it upon Facebook, composing,”This wasn’t supposed to happen and wasn’t even part of this guided excursion. We watched every one of the rafters go over and stood there waiting to determine if everybody came out. We couldn’t tell from where the video is, so we went to the visitor’s centre and everybody else was coming up. We asked and thankfully everyone was fine and came alive”
Frightened observers seeing the episode from a stage along with the drops promptly called 911 for assistance following the raft turned, sending its occupants swimmingas reported by ABC News along with WTAE Pittsbrugh.
